Alaska Airlines Passenger Threatens All On Board

Alaska Airlines flight 422 from Seattle to Chicago on Saturday, July 11, made an emergency landing after a passenger threatened everyone on board.

In a video posted to social media the passenger can be seen and heard declaring “die in the name of Jesus” and later “in the name of the holy ghost.”

Flight Attendants and passengers subdued the man and the plane landed safely back in Seattle. Officials with the Port of Seattle say the incident occurred approximately 20 minutes after departure.

Port of Seattle Police took the man into custody without incident once the plane landed and booked him into the King County Jail for harassment.
