“In addition to our flights to San Diego, Pittsburgh, New Orleans and San Francisco this year, we are delighted to announce our new service to Phoenix to further complement our North America program by increasing our U.S. destinations to a total of 18 cities,” said Christoph Debus, CEO Thomas Cook Group Airlines.

“We are pleased to bring Condor’s award-winning, three-class service at attractive prices to Phoenix and the whole region of Arizona and giving the local people a unique choice for their travels to Germany and beyond,” added Debus. “With our numerous partner airlines, we offer flights beyond Frankfurt to over 120 destinations across Europe.”

Phoenix is ready to welcome the new service from Condor.

“This is exciting news for Phoenix, and our community is ready to roll up its sleeves to make Condor’s new Phoenix-Frankfurt route a success,” said the city’s mayor, Greg Stanton.

“It’s meaningful for Phoenix to have a nonstop route to mainland Europe, which is a sign of the strength of our market and economy, and will help boost the tourism industry for both Arizona and our German friends,” Stanton added.

Flights will be operated using Boeing 767-300ER aircraft with 259 seats and three classes of service, including business, premium and economy. Condor passengers receive complimentary checked baggage, beverages, meals and in-flight entertainment.

In business-class, travelers have lie-flat seats, a touch-screen entertainment system, power and USB ports at every seat and gourmet, five-course meals with complimentary wine, beer and cocktails. On the ground, business-class passengers receive priority check-in and access to business-class lounges at most airports.

Premium passengers have added legroom and leg rests as well as adjustable headrests and premium entertainment options. Travelers also have USB ports, premium meals and complimentary beverages.

The new service begins May 18, 2018, leaving Phoenix on Mondays at 10:55 p.m. and arriving in Frankfurt at 7 p.m. the following day. Flights from Germany leave at 5:35 p.m. and arrive in Phoenix at 8:40 p.m. the same day. Friday service leaves Phoenix at 4:55 p.m., arriving in Frankfurt at 1 p.m. the following day. Return flights depart Fridays at 11:40 a.m. and arrive in Phoenix at 2:45 p.m. the same day.
