The Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun All Inclusive has completed its multimillion-dollar renovation, revamping the resort’s more than 500 rooms and upgrading the entire resort experience at the Cancun, Mexico, property.

Improvements to the accommodations include new high-tech decor created using conchuela, a compacted marine shell that maintains insulates the room and keeps temperatures down.

There is also new wood furnishing, electronic key access, redesigned bathrooms and new modern all-natural furnishings, updated rain showers, USB plugs, 56-inch Smart televisions a faster Wi-Fi connection and more.

Meeting spaces have also been refreshed, owing to the resort’s popularity with corporate and incentive groups. The facilities feature upgraded Wi-Fi access, state-of-the-art technology and a warm, hospitable staff.

Families will also find an upgraded experience.

The resort’s activities programs have been designed by a children’s entertainment company, and younger guests will enjoy beach games, competitions, arts and sports activities. There is also a supervised pool area as well as a Fiesta Kids Club and a Teen Club.

Guests will also have 24-hour access to Mexican and international dining and can truly unwind at the spa. Evening activities include tequila tasting, dancing, live music and the chance to learn Mayan astrology.

Couples Resorts Implements Relief Plan for Employees

Couples Resorts has implemented its official employee relief plan during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The company, which owns and operates a collection of four all-inclusive properties in Jamaica, has announced that each employee will be entitled to paid vacation, all of their benefits and a portion of their salary during the resorts’ closure due to the global impact of COVID-19.

“This brand recognizes the important roles each essential employee brings to the brand’s success and aims to help prioritize their health and safety during these challenging times,” the company said in a statement.

Couples Resorts also confirmed that its non-profit organization, The Issa Trust Foundation, has donated more than $238,000 of critical medical equipment and supplies such as ventilators, x-ray machines, hand sanitizer, beds and stretchers to assist Jamaica’s hospitals.

Couples Resorts is just one example of Caribbean resorts’ ongoing efforts to support the fight against COVID-19.
