HMSHost Airport Restaurant Month

The Jet Set and I got to experience HMSHost Airport Restaurant Month while visiting The Washington Redskins Burgundy and Gold Club at Washington Dulles International Airport.

During restaurant month, HMSHost airport dining locations are offering up some of their favorite recipes to enjoy while on the fly!

For our visit, the chef prepared the following five Airport Restaurant Month dishes – each with a seasonal fall connection. 

The Seared Salmon, Vegetarian Flatbread and Roasted Chicken Breast at The Washington Redskins Burgundy and Gold Club

  1. Seared Salmon – topped with basil pesto served with roasted mushrooms and asparagus, butternut squash puree, crispy smashed potatoes tossed with baby kale and fresh fruit

  2. Roasted Chicken Breast – topped with basil pesto and sage chicken jus served with roasted mushrooms and asparagus, butternut squash puree, crispy smashed potatoes and fresh fruit

  3. Vegetarian Flatbread – topped with basil pesto, goat cheese, tomato compote and sunflower seeds served with mushrooms and asparagus, crispy smashed potatoes tossed with an extra helping of baby kale and fresh fruit

  4. Grilled Pesto Shrimp Wrap – baby kale, roasted mushrooms, peppers and asparagus served with mushrooms and asparagus, crispy smashed potatoes tossed with baby kale and fresh fruit

  5. Better Than Bacon Burger – topped with fontina cheese and bacon- tomato compote served with roasted mushrooms and asparagus, crispy smashed potatoes tossed with baby kale and fresh fruit
