Check Out Royal Caribbean Rooms Through Virtual Tour

Picking a room on a cruise ship can be stressful, especially when you don’t know what the room looks like and if you’ll enjoy the layout.

Royal Caribbean seems to understand this as they’ve begun to add virtual stateroom tours for select staterooms. This will allow guests to enjoy 360-degree views of the suites before booking.

Matterport manages the virtual tour for Royal Caribbean allowing users to move around the room and take notice of features, furniture and amenities.

Users can press on different dots around placed around the room to learn more details about the suites such as how there are spa bathrobes and L’Occitane toiletries in the bathrooms or that the couch converts into a double sofa bed. It even allows users to stand on the balcony and look out to the sea.

Currently, it appears like Royal Caribbean is only offering virtual tours through the Matterport feature of the Junior Suites, Grand Suites 1 bedroom, Grand Suites 2 Bedrooms, Owner’s Suites, AquaTheater Suites and Royal Loft Suites on the Symphony of the Seas ship.

However, there is a 3D tour of what it’s like to walk through the Symphony of the Seas’ Boardwalk neighborhood and virtual tours of some rooms on the Quantum of the Seas created by Google.
