Preferred Hotels & Resorts – the world’s largest independent hotel brand representing more than 750 distinctive hotels, resorts, and residences across 85 countries – is pleased to announce the addition of 25 new member hotels to its global portfolio between January 1 to March 31, 2019.

From iconic heritage buildings in the cosmopolitan cities of Sydney and London to contemporary beachfront luxury in New Jersey, these exciting new properties deliver authentic, one-of-a-kind experiences that embody the spirit of independent travel and capture the essence of #ThePreferredLife.

New member highlights include:

Wave Resort (New Jersey, United States)

Opening in May, Wave Resort is a spectacular beachfront resort that will offer 67 airy deluxe rooms with lounge areas and private walk-out terraces.

Other standout facilities include an outdoor pool deck with swim-up cocktail bar, rooftop lounge, onsite spa with blow bar salon, state-of-the-art fitness center, five exciting dining outlets, loft event space with floor-to-ceiling windows framing panoramic ocean views, and a mobile concierge team that can help guests enjoy pampering experiences on the beach. Located in the heart of the award-winning Pier Village, guests can take a bike ride down to the newly renovated Long Branch Boardwalk or visit more than 30 independent shops and restaurants including The New Jersey Repertory Company where they can catch an evening play.

Hotel Henri(New York, United States)

Just steps from Madison Square Park, the iconic Empire State, and Flatiron Buildings, as well as some of New York City’s top-rated restaurants and bars, Hotel Henri is the ideal lodging choice for travelers seeking a theatrical experience in the Big Apple.

The newly independent hotel’s 118 guestrooms feature design touches that evoke the backstage ambiance of a Broadway theatre, with stylish lighting and graffiti-inspired artwork. Situated in the heart of Sydney’s Central Business District on Martin Place, The Fullerton Hotel Sydney resides in the city’s landmark Victorian-era General Post Office building. Set to launch in October, the luxury hotel will feature 416 elegant guestrooms and suites, replete with carefully curated art pieces.

Sea Containers London (London, United Kingdom)
