Four Seasons Nevis Debuts New Suite Categories

Luxury boutique property Four Seasons Resort Nevis has added seven new suites and two new suite categories as part of the 189-room deluxe resort’s recently completed enhancement project’s first phase. The new suites incorporate modern design elements with a timeless Caribbean feel, say company officials.

The luxury resort now features 24 re-designed suites across five new accommodations categories: Alexander suites, Kalinago suites, Chelanii suites, Poinciana suites and Indigo suites. Each category name refers to an aspect of Nevis culture and tradition, as suites represent aspects names for the Caribbean island’s people, history, nature and wildlife.

Contemporary one-bedroom Alexander suites, named for the island’s most famous descendant, Alexander Hamilton, offer 1,761 square feet of interior living space. Named for Nevis’ indigenous people, 800 square-foot Kalinago suites feature private patios that extend directly to the resort’s lawn, leading down to Pinney’s Beach.

The 1,200 square-foot Chelanii suites are named for sea turtles that nest on Nevis’ shores and located steps from Pinney Beach’s waters. Each is equipped with a separate sitting area and offers one and one-half bathrooms.

Inspired by the majestic Royal Poinciana trees dotting the resort, Poinciana suites are named also for the national flower of St. Kitts and Nevis, and offer guests 710 square feet of space, a separate room and living space.

Finally, Indigo suites offer 710 square feet of interior space and provide an extra layer of privacy from the lush flora and fauna of Nevis that once produced an abundance of indigo dye, among the territory’s first profitable crops.

Four Seasons Nevis guests can partake in tennis on any of four red-clay courts, four hard courts and two AstroTurf courts at the property’s tennis center, managed by Peter Burwash International or golf alongside the Green Vervet monkeys on the 18-hole, par-71 course, surrounded by vibrant, tropical foliage.

Meanwhile, active travelers can dive into the sea to explore the nearby reefs and later reconnect with nature at the resort’s spa, while all guests are welcome to toast the sunset while dining on the water’s edge. Guests traveling to Nevis in April and May can earn 20 percent off their stay when booking at least seven days in advance.
