Starting in late 2019, Delta is making a grand entrance in four major cities.
The airline will be adding Los Angeles, Austin, San Francisco and Salt Lake City to its west coast route network with their airlines/delta-extends-airbus-220-order-to-90-total-aircraft.html” target=”_self” rel=”nofollow noopener noreferrer”>new Airbus A220 in late 2019 and early 2020.

Delta will begin their A220 route between Los Angeles and Austin on December 21, 2019, as well as their Los Angeles to airlines/delta-to-bring-more-options-to-seattle-trans-pacific-flights-this-summer.html” target=”_self” rel=”nofollow noopener noreferrer”>Seattle route which will cost between $287 to $386.
The San Francisco to Salt Lake City route will cost as low as $78 for economy and $222 for first class. Travelers going from San Francisco to Seattle will see prices like $71 for basic economy and $160 for first class.
With the A220, Delta will become the first operator in North America to begin commercial service with the aircraft. Lufthansa Group, Korean Air and airBaltic all have accepted deliveries of the A220.
The Delta A220-100 will have 109 seats, 12 seats in First Class, 15 in Delta Comfort+ and 82 seats in the Main Cabin. Travelers will also enjoy Gogo2Ku Wi-Fi, personal power ports at each sea, wide seats, extra large seats, ambient lighting and entertainment screens on the back of seats
