There will be more opportunity than ever to sail with Royal Caribbean in Alaska in 2020. The cruise line is planning to have three ships in the Last Frontier during the 2020 cruise season.
Ovation of the Seas will join Serenade of the Seas and Radiance of the Seas in the region.
MORE Cruise Line & Cruise Ship
Before setting sail in the Gulf of Alaska, Ovation and Radiance will island hop in Hawaii. Serenade of the Seas will navigate the Panama Canal and Golden Coast as she makes her way west.
Ovation of the Seas is the cruise line’s first Quantum Class ship to sail in Alaska and this will be its second consecutive season in the region, operating seven-night itineraries from Seattle, Washington.
Onboard, visitors can catch the best views from the North Star, the ship’s signature glass observation capsule that gives guests panoramic views of the area 300 feet above sea level. However, some of the best views will be of the surroundings in Alaska such as the Northern Lights in Juneau, the Endicott Arm Fjord, Skagway, and Victoria, British Columbia.
It is the first time that Serenade of the Seas has been in Alaska since 2009. The ship will sail seven-night itineraries through the 500 miles of shoreline that is the Inside Passage, calling on Ketchikan, Juneau and Icy Strait Point, Alaska, from Vancouver.
Radiance of the Seas is no stranger to Alaska and will once again offer seven-night, open-jaw itineraries between Vancouver and Seward, Alaska. The ship will alternate between northbound and southbound routes.
