Atlanta Airport Given All Clear After Investigating ‘Suspicious Package’

Fear of mysterious packages is heightened as of late after a Florida man mailed explosive packages to President Obama and Hillary Clinton last week.

So, it comes to no surprise that Atlanta police and fire departments took a mysterious package at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport seriously on Sunday morning.

The police department’s bomb unit was called to the scene to examine a mysterious package outside of the terminal, spokeswoman Officer Stephanie Brown said in a statement.

After a thorough investigation, the ‘suspicious package’ was discovered to be comprised of two flashlights and a weather radio.
