Palace Resorts Reveals New Pro Program

WHY IT RATES: With the new Palace Pro Agents Specialist Program PRO 2.0., agents can now earn annual credit for groups and weddings.—Jessica Zickefoose, TravelPulse Associate Editor

Palace Resorts—the company that sets the standard in five-star, all-inclusive resort accommodations—welcomed over 550 travel agents, tour operators and industry insiders from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Latin America and Europe for the fifth annual Palace Resorts Global Conference held at the newly-opened The Grand at Moon Palace Cancun this past August 22-25, 2018.

The star of this year’s action-packed agenda was the introduction of the brand’s new and improved Palace Pro Agents Specialist Program, PRO 2.0.

The Palace PRO Specialist program has always been one of the most elite and comprehensive in the industry. But now, Palace Resorts is taking things up a notch—with more incentives and support than ever before, and more ways to earn more cash.

The PRO 2.0 is composed of several different levels which allow for multiple benefits and bigger monetary incentives. Agents can now earn annual credit for groups and weddings—Platinum Crown Agents receive $800 and Emerald Crown Agents receive $1,200. You can apply the total or partial amounts towards any occasional expense (for example, towards a cake, flowers, etc.).

As an added value to this, agents can also earn commission on wedding extras depending on their specialist program level. For example, all PRO Agents receive 15%; Gold Crown Agents 18%, and Platinum/Emerald Crown Agents 20%. In addition to these already game-changing percentages, agents can receive up to $1,500 in resort credit for their personal vacation. The percentages vary per level in the program.

As an added perk, agents can also receive air credit depending on their status such as: PRO agents $150, Gold Crown Agents $300, and Platinum/Emerald Crown Agents get $500 when booking their own stay at Palace Resorts.

In addition, the brand also held a special bridal conference with the Palace Resorts expert wedding’s team where exclusive agents got to experience all of the brand’s newest offerings for destination weddings.

From elaborate, customized décor to a new stellar wedding cake designer, Marelis Teran, Palace Resorts has the ability to convert any bridal fairytale into a reality at any of the brands ten oceanfront properties.

Over the course of three days, attendees got a sneak peek at The Palace Life with a Carnaval-themed welcome reception, property walk-throughs and tastings, general sessions with updates and upcoming news for the brand and much more.

Over the next couple of days, travel agents, tour operators, and industry insiders traveled from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Latin America, and Europe to the brand’s recently-opened oasis, The Grand at Moon Palace Cancun to immerse themselves in a weekend full of the Palace Resorts’ lifestyle and the unique Mexican culture.

Agents got a sneak peek at Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos, as well as indulge in the brand’s latest culinary offerings and luxurious accommodations and amenities Palace Resorts has to offer.

In between educational seminars and some much-needed fun-in-the-sun, agents also had the opportunity to experience other of the brand’s incredible oasis throughout the destination with some scheduled property inspections.

Palace Resorts concluded the conference by recognizing top agents and partners during a Mayan-themed awards gala which filled the night with rituals and sounds that immersed the audience into Mexican culture. Palace Resorts executives presented awards to the top agents in the following categories: Top Destination Wedding Travel Agency, Top Home Based Travel Agency, Top Producing Travel Agent, Top Producing Travel Agency, Top Producing Destination Agent–Mexico, and Top Producing Destination Agent-Jamaica.

“Each year, the Palace Resorts Global Conference represents an opportunity for the brand to build and grow the already existing relationships we’ve established with the agent community,” said Frank Corzo, Vice President of U.S. Field Sales for Palace Resorts.

“This year, was no different as we released the new version of our Palace PRO Specialist program—PRO 2.0, which is a testament to the community that Palace Resorts is always thinking of how we can grow together and provided with the tools and knowledge agents need to exceed their sales goals.”
