Holland America to Offer Series of Hawaii Cruises in 2018-19

Holland America Line will offer nine extended cruises to Hawaii from fall 2018 through spring 2019.

Itineraries aboard Eurodam and Amsterdam will range from 16 to 20 days, with cruises departing from Seattle, Vancouver, San Diego and Los Angeles.

Most of the cruises will include an overnight call in Honolulu. Guests will have extra time to visit landmark sites, such as Pearl Harbor, Waikiki Beach, and Diamond Head State Monument. The cruises will also visit Hilo, Nawiliwili, and Lahaina, with most also including Kona.

“Hawaii is synonymous with paradise, from the stunning scenery to the laid-back, friendly culture, and these islands beckon cruisers to come explore, relax and become enchanted with their idyllic ambiance,” said Orlando Ashford, president of Holland America Line. “We are committed to providing guests with an immersive and memorable vacation, so our Hawaii itineraries are further enriched with unique onboard offerings that bring Hawaiian cultural activities and cuisine on board throughout the voyage.”

The season will begin when Eurodam departs Seattle September 29, 2018. An 18-day Circle Hawaii cruise will first visit Victoria and Vancouver before heading to the Hawaiian ports of Nawiliwili, Honolulu, Lahaina, and Hilo. Guests can also embark two days later in Vancouver.

Another 18-day voyage on Eurodam departs from San Diego on November 11, 2018. Guests will visit Nawiliwili, Honolulu, Lahaina, Hilo, and Kona, as well as Ensenada.

A 17-day Holiday cruise aboard Amsterdam departs December 21, 2018. It sails roundtrip from Los Angeles.

Three similar itineraries are available aboard Eurodam in 2019. Two 17-day sailings depart in February and a 16-day sailing departs in April. The April cruise can be extended with a visit to Victoria.

Additionally, the line is offering a South Pacific journey aboard Eurodam. A 28-day Hawaii, Tahiti and Marquesas voyage departs San Diego on March 9, 2019. The roundtrip from San Diego calls on six ports in French Polynesia, two in Hawaii and a call at Fanning Island.

A 51-day Tales of the South Pacific voyage aboard Amsterdam sails roundtrip from San Diego on October 28, 2019. It visits Hawaii, Tahiti, America Samoa, the Cook Islands, Fiji, Vanuatu and Tonga.

Holland America’s newest ship, Nieuw Statendam, debuts in December 2018.
