Princess Cruises has released its South America fall 2019 through spring 2020 itineraries. Fourteen departures on Island Princess and sister ship Coral Princess (her maiden season there) visit 31 ports in 18 countries.

The cruises range in length from 14 to 58 days. They depart from Ft. Lauderdale, Santiago or Buenos Aires from December 2019 through March 2020.

“South America is a highly-desired destination for our guests with so many landmarks and cultures to explore,” said Jan Swartz, Princess Cruises president. “This upcoming season also marks our return to Antarctica which we know is a huge draw for travel seekers and has been voted a top place to visit.”

Highlights include three Buenos Aires to Santiago sailings that include scenic cruising of the Antarctica Peninsula. And a 58-day voyage will circumnavigate the continent. It will visit iconic sites such as Easter Island, Rio’s Carnival, Machu Picchu, Iguazú Falls, Patagonia and more.

Additional highlights of the season include overnight stays in Lima (Callao), Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires. The itineraries visit a total of seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Pre and post-cruise land tours are also available. They include visits to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Iguazu National Park in Brazil and Argentina as well as Machu Picchu, Peru.
