Frontier Adding New Routes from San Antonio

Low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines is expanding its service to Texas by adding nine new routes to and from San Antonio.

With the addition of the new routes, Frontier will offer more nonstop destinations from San Antonio International Airport than any other airline and offer the only non-stop flights on eight of those routes.

In celebration of the dedication to the San Antonio market, Frontier will offer special introductory fares starting as low as $29 each way, which can be found on the airline’s official website.

“The greater San Antonio and Central Texas communities continue to respond well to our Low Fares Done Right philosophy,” Frontier senior vice president Daniel Shurz said in a statement. “We are proud to continue our commitment and bring even more low fares to San Antonio with nine more non-stop destinations. With a total of 23 destinations now available, we are the largest carrier at SAT in terms of cities served.”

Frontier will now serve San Antonio to and from Albuquerque, Charlotte, Cleveland, Columbus, Jacksonville, Memphis, Oklahoma City, Omaha and Tulsa. The new routes are in addition to the carrier’s existing service, including flights to and from Atlanta, Cincinnati, Denver, Las Vegas, New Orleans, San Diego, Orlando, Philadelphia, Washington – Dulles and more.

In recent months, Frontier has added four new cities to its portfolio, including Norfolk, Virginia; Wichita, Kansas; and Santa Barbara and Sacramento in California.
